Something I came by today...... An all white chess board...... What facinates me is not the aspects of the game or the huge amount of memory that you should posses in order to play the game but the the concept behind it.
In the owner's own words
" The white chess set is a sort of life situation. Life is not all black and white, you don't know what is yours and what is theirs. You have to convince people what is yours. In the chess situation it is simple if you are black then black is yours. But this is like a life situation, where you have to play it by convincing each other."
Interesting indeed. I don't think that I have to say anything more.... Its all clear I guess........

2 Thoughts:
I love the idea of this game, though I'd never play it myself. Certainly not with anyone in my family. It would degenrate into fits of violence and verbal abuse, as none of us would be able to convince the others that a particular piece belongs to us...
On second thought, sounds like fun. I can just watch. :P. Good find!
