Physics.....Experiments??????

(sorry, a small prologue is essential)

The other day we had to do some high school physics practicals. We were given photostats of the experiments (thankfully) and had only to fill up the values as per our experiments. In the starting there was some confusion about which experiment goes to who and I got one and as is my nature I started doing it as I felt was fit and wrote down with pencil. After all, it was time for experimenting and why not use the time for it rather than wait for our teacher to come and explain and there were no delicate instruments involved.

But then she came by and told me that what I did was wrong and that the readings were wrong.(no surprise and no hard feelings). But then she told that I ought not to do such things, ie. do things on my own but wait for her explanation and that I wasted my time!!!!
I never felt so and will never do so either because every second spent in doing something on your own is a second worth of knowledge and wisdom......

I would like your comment and opinion on this.......... Please......

An example why one should THINK

My classes at my new school started and I have a few friends over there that I knew from before.One is my senior and we are good friends.However,when I met him at school , he mentioned that since he was a senior he would not be so friendly JUST because his classmates were not so to their juniors.

This is exactly why I prefer think for myself and encourage everyone to do so.Why go with the flow if you don't agree with it.Why not make the change and make the new path as mentioned here

I believe that ,had he thought about what he had to do instead of following his classmates,he would have had an easier life and if everyone followed the lead the school would have been friendlier.

Hope things turn out better :) ...........

Crazy training!!!!!!

Today, I just went to write a test to get admitted to a course to learn to write another test to get admitted to another course.
Now that's crazy!!!!!
Didn't get what I was talking about????
IIT training courses.Thousands of these and many more thousands trying out.All for those elucid few hundred seats to those mighty and prestigious institutions.I have always wondered , why is the IIT-JEE test considered to important?Who knows.Maybe its the prestige or the impeccable training or the many offers one would recieve...........Whatsoever......it is important...........

As for me specific dreams drive me ...those mighty and speckled skies have always enchanted me .I could stare at the moon or the innumerable stars that dot the skies for hours(even though I have never got a chance to do so for more than 1 hour :(

It still fascinates me ..I'm kind of in.....LOVE

The boundless extent of the vast skies and the unimaginable (probable) infinite universe is so awe inspiring,so ..............( sadly , I'm out of vocabulary)

And now I'm striving for it.......
......and by the way ...here's something I found out .....It's always the basics that is required .....it's always those little formulae that you learned in your high school that counts :)
