Development-a little to fast?

Yesterday,I just went around ernakulam and nearby places and was awestruck with the amount of development going right around me!!!!
What with all the new malls ,shopping complexes and business centers,all being 'dumped' into this small city.How would we manage the traffic ? the people? the waste produced?

No wonder the world is getting more and more chaotic by the minute.Wars all around you,People being murdered for no apparent reason at all,school children going out on shootouts and everybody just looking around with no real answer to any of these problems!!!!

Not that I'm against development.I embrace it with all my heart BUT shouldn't we concern ourselves more with the peripheral infrastructure too.

Higher efficiency ,
Better management,
Greater productivity.........????????
